Parents have rights to the company and companionship of their children, and the right to raise them as they choose within the bounds of the law. Grandparents also have some limited rights to the company and companionship of their grandchildren. Ordinarily, if a grandparent has an established relationship with a grandchild, and that relationship is found to be in the child’s best interests, the Court will enforce the grandparent’s right to visitation with the child.
